Mission aircrew training is critical for the variety of aviation operations that CAP supports
Mission Aircrew & Flightline Curriculum
Note: Within eServices there is a Specialty Qualification Training Record which can be printed as a worksheet or used to enter training data. For ES Qualifications other than pilot related the "tasks" entered do not require validation. Approval is required to show trainee status on the CAPF 101 and to be fully qualified.
Ground Team Member 3
- Prerequisites
- General Emergency Services (GES) qualification
- Print Specialty Qualification Training Record (SQTR)
- My Operations Qualifications, Print Blank Worksheets under Emergency Services, SQTR
- Completed tasks can be entered into the SQTR (Entry/View Worksheet) or recorded on paper and completed paper form uploaded

- Task guides can be found under Regulations and Manuals and are listed immediately after CAPR 60-3
- Task Guides are issued for: Aircrew and Flight Line, Ground and Urban DF Team, and Mission Base Staff

- Courses
- NIMS courses IS-100.b and IS-700.a - completion certificate will be required
- CAPT 117 Continuing Education part 1
- Approval required for
- Meeting prerequisites
- Completion of Familiarization and Preparatory Training (approved to participate in missions as trainee)
- CAPF101 with trainee status issued
- Completion of advanced training
- Wing/Region Commander or designee must approve final qualification
Ground Team Member 2 and 1
- Additional advanced training tasks required beyond level already accomplished
Ground Team Leader
- Prerequisites
- General Emergency Services (GES) qualification
- Ground Team Member 3
- At least 18 years of age
- Courses
- NIMS courses IS-200.b - completion certificate will be required
- The balance of Mission Observer follows the same process as Mission Scanner with additional tasks to be accomplished
